When is Diamond Fruit Farm open for picking?

What fruits are available for U-pick, and when?
Our fruit ripens in seasonal stages:
🍓 Strawberries: Late Spring – Early Summer
🍑 Peaches, Plums, Nectarines: July – September
🍏 Apples & Pears: Late Summer – Early Fall

Do you sell pre-picked fruit or just U-pick?
We primarily offer U-pick fruit, but if possible, we will pre-pick fruit for customers who call ahead. Availability depends on our harvest and staffing, so please contact us in advance to check if we can accommodate your request.
Pricing & Payment FAQ’s
How much does it cost to pick fruit?
We charge by the container for U-pick fruit. Prices vary by variety and season—visit our Facebook page or check at the farm for the latest pricing.
Do you accept credit cards and mobile payments?
No, We currently accept cash, check, Venmo, or Paypal
Are there discounts for large groups or frequent visitors?
We do not currently offer group discounts, but we appreciate your support and encourage repeat visits throughout the season!
Picking & Farm Rules FAQ’s
What should I bring for a U-pick experience?
We recommend bringing:
✔ Comfortable shoes for walking on grassy paths
✔ Sunscreen and a hat for sun protection
✔ Water to stay hydrated
Can I sample fruit while picking?
We kindly ask that you only taste a small sample while picking and purchase what you take.
Are there any rules for handling and picking fruit properly?
Yes! Please:
🚫 Do not pull or yank fruit—gently twist or lift it off the plant.
🚫 Do not climb trees or damage plants.
🚫 Pick only what you intend to purchase—we want to minimize waste!
Farm Policies FAQ’s
Are pets allowed at the farm?
No. Per Department of Health regulations, pets are not allowed. Service animals are permitted.
What happens if it rains?
The farm remains open unless conditions become unsafe. If we need to close due to weather, we’ll post updates on Facebook.
Is the farm stroller and wheelchair accessible?
We do our best to make the farm as accessible as possible. The orchard has grass paths, and some areas can be accessed by car, but walking is required. During wet conditions, visitors may need to park along the driveway and walk into the orchard.
Do you allow professional photography or private events at the orchard?
Yes! We welcome photographers but ask that you contact us in advance for scheduling and guidelines.
